If I could, I would erase every bit of me from your mind. You won’t remember ever loving me. You won’t remember why you ever stopped.

Couldn’t you love
My love for you grew upward like a tree. Under their branches you found shade. I hoped your love wouldn’t fade. But in my winter you left me. In the cold you thought my branches Were there to help your start a fire And instead of saying you loved me You put a chainsaw through my heart.
