She understood me; and I wanted to spend all night making sweet sense to her.

She was not so easily summarized.

I’ll always treat you right. I’ll always be a gentleman. I’ll still open the door for you even if it’s for you to leave me.

She saved me and by doing so conferred a value on my life. It’s a currency I do not know how to spend.

I lived with my heart in a cage. You smiled and suddenly I was free.

Would you stop my tears with kisses? Could you bring them to a halt? Could you teach me that this pain Isn’t always my fault?

Because God knew hearts couldn’t be trusted, He had the good sense to put them in cages.

I find myself pickpocketing my own mind for reasons just to talk to you.

I would like to harvest the sunshine in your smiles and save it for a rainy day.

He may borrow my words and speak them sweetly to you, but he’ll never be able to plagiarize the way I love you.
